Create new .net backend service and run, everything works fine. Update all nuget packages, run, app no longer works.

Thanks for posting here!
You can use nuget.exe to restore your packages or with NuGet 2.7, or above, installed you can simply compile your solution in Visual Studio, which will also restore the missing packages.
Hope that helps!
If the issue persist, please respond with the details such as error message and so on.

I know how to use Nuget. That's not the question/problem. By updating the azure mobile service .net backend project template to the latest packages, the project no longer runs, you get runtime errors.
1. In visual studio, create new project, select .net backend mobile service.
3. Run. (works fine)
5. Right click solution, manage nuget packages, update all.
6. Build again
7. run (runtime errors)

Thank you for your response.
Please follow this article and runtime debugging steps.

just perform the steps I mentioned...this is a brand new template/project. all I'm doing is updating the nuget packages to latest versions that are already defined in the project.
