Web API won't work when I call it from Azure.

Hello ,

I hope someone can help me. I have created a Azure Web API Preview with vs 2015 Community edition, I have published it successfully (even saw the message that confirmed that my Web API was successfully Created on the Cloud).

By when I try to call it from a .NET Client ( WPF application ) it returns me a 404 HTTP ERROR. I have searched on Azure documentation and the web and could not find a reference on how to solve it.

So I will really appreciate if someone can help

Thank you in advance.

Try walking though the getting started tutorial to make sure you're deploying your API App correctly.

You have to provision an Azure API App, and then deploy your code to the API App, which requires hitting "publish" twice. The tutorial walks through the steps.

You can also try to accessing your API directly through postman to see if it works. If everything checks out, then you need to update your client application to call the correct URL.
