We are having trouble connecting to our postgreSQL database. Error is "SSL SYSCALL error: EOF detected" . Several of the pages on the portal related to the database also do not work, I suspect it is because the portal cannot connect to the instance either.
The database has been working for around a month with no issues, but stopped working last night during a database restore.
The database server name is shipware-pg.postgres.database.azure.com

Can you please share the timestamp of the error and we'll look at our logs of what damage the restore did.

We were getting errors consistently last Thursday and Friday, 6/22 around 4:00 PM CST is as close as I can give you to a timestamp. We had someone helping us from Microsoft, our incident number is 117062215936372. The connection is working now, I was told the issue was memory pressure.

The file share ran out of quota and also the transaction log got extremely long to make the server unresponsive. We're still looking into the root cause of large number of xlog, but have mitigated the issue for you.
Yes, Subbu from CSS is also following up with you on your support case. Glad to hear that your server and database are fully available and you're able to connect to it. Sorry for the inconvenience. We've have also whitelisted your subscription for the Standard Tier in the same region, so you can now scale up your server to suit your needs.
