I'm trying to remote debug a Windows Store App using the graphics debugger and the following error occurs:
"The Graphics Diagnostics engine on the remote machine does not match the Visual Studio version on this machine..."
My desktop is a Windows 8 machine, and as the bug only appears on the Windows 10 machine, I am remote debugging a Surface Pro 4. After seeing the error msg, I've updated the remote debugger to 12.0.40629.0 to match my VS 2013 Pro version of 12.0.40629.00 Update 5. After updating and rebooting the machine, it still gives the error msg. Is there anyway to fix this?

Hi Won Bin Kang,
Maybe you could check the detailed requirements and steps about how to remote debug the Windows Store apps.
You said that you use the windows 8 and windows 10 machines, whether they are all the same version 32 bit or 64 bit?
Since you use the VS2013, please make sure that you choose one of the links in this table that matches the operating system on the remote device, for the update 5 version, it also has the x86 and x64 versions, so please make sure that you install the matched version as your windows.

Hi thanks for the reply.
They are both x64 and I've installed x64 versions Update 5. I have no issues with remote debugging, except when I try to run the Graphics Diagnosis(alt F5).

Hi Won Bin Kang,
Thanks for your friendly response.
If so, it would be not the VS remote debugger tool issue, we would think about the Visual Studio Graphics Diagnostics.
Since it has his own support forum here:
I help you move this case to the Visual Studio Graphics Tools forum for dedicated support.

VS 2013 doesn't support Graphics Diagnostics for Win10 targets. You should update to VS 2015 if you want that. There's a free Community Edition.
