I have an Ethereum POA consortium setup with 2 nodes. We are using it for some small testing and prototyping with a small number of transactions overall (less than 100), however it is continually producing blocks and consuming resources (See below) even when there are no transactions (e.g. we are at over 700k blocks now). Is there a way to make it more efficient, e.g. not consume as much resources? This is purely for testing/experimenting purposes

The default block generation time is set to two seconds to promote quick finality and provide a reasonable user experience when making governance changes (which depend on finality). We are looking into making this configurable going forward to provide
the option to make block sealing less aggressive.
