I’m seeing DNS hostname resolution timeout for the IPv6 scenario from the device. I tried the following experiment. Can someone please confirm if the IOT Hub supports IPv6. If so, is there any specific configuration that is needed.

C:\Users\vpulimi>ping IOTTHRDXDATA.azure-devices.net
Pinging ihsu-prod-by-001.cloudapp.net [40.83.177.42] with 32 bytes of data:

C:\Users\vpulimi>ping -6 IOTTHRDXDATA.azure-devices.net
Ping request could not find host IOTTHRDXDATA.azure-devices.net. Please check the name and try again.

C:\Users\vpulimi>ping -6 www.google.com
Pinging www.google.com [2607:f8b0:4005:805::2004] with 32 bytes of data:

Hello Micheal T,

Sorry for the late response. Please upvote the request on Azure IoT Feedback Channel:

Add support for IPv6 on Azure IoT Hub

Currently IPv6 is not supported on Azure IoT Hub. We will update the status of its implementation there.

Thank you!
