Hi,

I installed SPF and Azure Pack and ran into the following issue when I was trying to connecting to my VMM in Azure Pack.

"Unable to retrieve clouds on VMM server SCVVM_SERVER. Please make sure the server name is correct and try connecting again."

And also got the following error in the Event Viewer. I have set up a service account SVC_SPF for all the SPF sites and it is in the server's admin group and has sysadmin roles on the SQL Server.

Hello Lizhang,

This error usually means that SPF failed to register with VMM when it was initially configured.  Can you please verify that all of the settings in this article have been done?

http://blogs.technet.com/b/scvmm/archive/2013/11/12/general-troubleshooting-list-for-windows-azure-pack-wap-and-spf-integration.aspx

One trick you can use is to toggle between using the SPF server's FQDN and NetBIOS name in the registration dialog if any of the conditions (e.g. local account not registered in SPF, domain account was not a member of the VMM administrator role, etc) were not true on initial configuration.

Regards,

Mark
