I am using Azure indexer to synchronize Azure SQL tables with Index using Azure indexer and find that the deleted rows from database are not removed from the index, is that the expected behavior from indexer?

Hi Mark-Chen,

Which change / deletion detection policies have you configured on your datasource? If you have SQL Integrated Change Tracking policy configured, then deleted rows should be automatically removed from the index. If you have a Highwatermark policy configured, then you need to separate configure a soft-delete column deletion detection policy and soft-delete rows instead of physically deleting them. See this article for more details: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/search-howto-connecting-azure-sql-database-to-azure-search-using-indexers-2015-02-28/
