Hi all Mac developers

I have an addin which is not working on one of our customers computer. I want to the debug and see what is going wrong - but I haven't found a neat way to debug the Javascript in my addin. I found an article describing how to set up debugging with VorlonJS, but is there no better way to do it?

Hello Max,

According to Debug Office Add-ins on iPad and Mac:

Vorlon.JS is a debugger for web pages, similar to the F12 tools. It is designed to work remotely and it enables you to debug web pages across different devices.

So I think all the debuggers for web pages for Mac could be used to debug the web application of Office add-ins.

Sorry that we are not familiar with Mac and the search results are for iOS, so I suggest you ask on Apple Developer forum and I think there are many Mac developers there could share valuable suggestions.

Regards,

Celeste
