Is it possible for me to create a class library project in Visual Studio in which I mix both C# and F# source files? Given that each language generates standard MSIL I expect this is technically feasible but don't know if it's supported yet in some way.

Thanks

Not in the same project, any more than with mixing C# and VB or C++/CLI in the same project -- there's no individual source file compilation to an intermediate object format as there is in hybrid native C and C++ projects.

But while managed projects are of necessity homogeneous, the resulting assemblies can be post-processed using ILMerge into one of hybrid origins.
