Three times in the last 72 hours I have received alerts for Error 68501 followed shortly by as message that "Virtual machine health is OK". The machine gets to the "OK" stage without any intervention - no scripts, automation, or human action are performed.

Sometimes I'll it will flip from Critical to OK every 15 minutes, sometimes takes an hour to flip.

This didn't start occurring until a few weeks after upgrading to the 5.1.1700.0 version of the provider. I have already run a full resync.

Anyone else seeing issues with ASR storage access glitches?

On-Premise Hyper-VM without VMM, with Hyper-V host being Server 2012 R2 and protected VM guest also being Server 2012 R2. ASR is classic (pre-ARM) service, purchased through Azure Direct (vs part of OMS suite for example)

Anyone else having similar glitches last few days?

Hello Neil,

Thank you for posting here!

Check for any issues in the Event Viewer logs (Applications and Service Logs - MicrosoftAzureRecoveryServices) on the Hyper-V host server.

Please download the latest agent (5.1.1720) from url;
if the above link does not give you the .1720 Agent then please download it fromhere

Check to see if that helps and let us know.

I will have to wait until late this weekend to deploy the new agent, so will update on Wed if the problem has not come back.
