Hi,

I'm a newbie to this.

I've downloaded the MediaServicesGettingStarted console application, and when running it I get an error 'could not load file or assembly Microsoft.Practices.TransientFaultHandling.core, Version=5.1.1209.0 when it tries to create an empty asset.

I did install this package but it installed the next version - 5.1.1209.1. I can't see how I can get the earlier version nor how to remove the latest version.

I guess there must be a workaround to get the MediaServicesGettingStarted to talk to version 5.1.1209.1 but I can't seem to find it.

I'm running VS 2013 professional on Windows 8.1 Pro.

Help please?

Hi,

Did you update the app.config file with the Media Services Account name and key information?

  <appSettings>

    <add key="MediaServicesAccountName" value="somename" />
    <add key="MediaServicesAccountKey" value="somekey" />
  </appSettings>

thanks,

Julia

Hi,

Make sure that you are using the DLLs provided with tha package.

NOT the ones OOB.

The easiest is to copy those DLLs in your bin folder.

Or, send them to GAC using GacUtil tool
