I would like to know if you will add the ability to apply a hard cap to a devtest Labs for a lab. To limit a user to $50 per month for his lab. Because at the moment, I don’t see where I can set a maximum limit per lab.

Hello Smunger,

Thank you reaching us. Please refer the below articles for your reference. Check "Define lab policies" section for more details.

Hi Stephane,

A lot of the online documentation is misleading and doesn't actually match the interface but the bottom line is that it does't like you can actually directly control the spend from this interface, only report on it.    You can, however, implement policies that will help control your burn rate.  Of course you can still generate alerts on the subscription. Not sure why MS can't just give straight answers.

Aaron is right. The lab will help you track costs and alert you at specific thresholds of your target spend, but does not yet have a feature to "turn out the lights" once spend hits a threshold.

That feature is on the backlog.
