Question

I have an app called DWG Columns that makes it possible to see certain meta data for Autodesk DWG files in Explorer both as columns and as InfoTip. Below different DWG columns are showed.

Recently I was informed by a user that when there is an Office update, this update breaks the functionality and either DWG Columns needs to be reinstalled or at least the Property Schema needs to be installed again. Basically with a call to PSRegisterPropertySchema(wszSchemaPath);

How can this problem be reported to the Office team?

Could you help us figure out which Office update causes this issue, and could you reproduce this issue on other machine with this Office update? that will help us narrow down whether this issue is related to Office update.

Thanks for your understanding.

So far it has been reproduced with update 15.0.4797.1002 and update 16.0.6366.2068. Also when downgrading to from 15.0.4797.1002 to 15.0.4787.1002. Yes, this happened on multiple machines and could be reproduced on Windows 7, 8.1 and 10.

I wanted to give an update on this. After reporting this bug to Microsoft the problem has been solved in the recent Office update.
