Hi,

In our Environment we have a Site collection in which we are using AAM for Intranet Zone along with Default zone. While assigning permissions by using People picker (In Intranet zone) we are not able to find some of the users, instead of if we access site using Default zone we are able to see those users in people picker. Is it possible to get those users while accessing site other than default zone? how can we achieve this to resolve this issue?

What is the procedure that was used when you have extended the web application? Have you followed the steps presented in the following article:

Hi Siddesh,

The people picker works in cross domain or cross forest environment. It works in both-way trust and one-way trust environment. By default if the administrator does not do any configuration, the people picker will issue queries to all two-way trusted domains and two-way trusted forests to search people & groups.

Please make sure that there exist at least a one way trust between the 2 domains. More information, please refer to the link:

In addition, when you add the users , please type in the user’s name as domain\user, compare the result.
