Question

So, I have attached four disks to a VM in Azure:

I can see that there are four un-initialized Physical Disks in Windows Server:

Now, my question is: how can I, either visually or through PowerShell (preferably through PowerShell), determine which Physical Disk corresponds to which Azure Data Disk?

In particular, as you can see, there are two attached Azure Data Disks with the same Size (127 GB) but different Host Caching preferences. How can these two disks be distinguished through Windows Server?

Hello Charlie,

Thank you for contacting us.

Please run this command to check what are the disks attached to the VM using the PS.

Get-AzureDisk

Please let me know if this helps.

Dipin Mathew.
