Dear Azure guru's,

Could you take a look: I'm unable to create new Virtual machine.

Actually, I'm registered as BizSpark member and I have the BizSpark 3 month subscrition for Windows Azure.

Today I tryed to create new Virtual Machine from Gallery, but at the combo-box "Subscription" on the creation form all values disabled (see image enclosed).disabled subscription

Do you have any ideas why it happened?

Looks like this is error with my subscription. How to contact to support to fix this error?

Sincerely, Vladimir

Hi Vladimir,

Since Windows Azure Virtual Machines is still in Preview you need to first go to your Account and request access to that Preview (Account -> Preview Features -> Request Access to Windows Azure Virtual Machines).

This should be the issue you're facing.

Hope this helps.

Dear Nuno,

Thanks for you prompt answer, this has been fix, but not completely.

Now I'm able to create new VM instance, but not able to create VM instance from VHDisk, assiciated with another subscription (I use to use it for a while).

When I'm trying to create the VM from VHDisk, I got the combo with only Disabled

subscription available. Do you have any ideas?

That is really strange. Did you already received the email from the Windows Azure Team that the Virtual Machine is already fully available? That seems like that isn't fully available. It's really strange.

I'll try to figure out if I can replicate the problem so I can help you.

you will need to copy the VHD to a storage unit on the new subscription. If you still have access to the old subscription storage the fastest way to copy is from the other storage account. If you do not you will have to upload it again. You may find Azure Subscriptions with PowerShell helpful.  Also, working with azure storage using powershell
