We have a publishing site where site collection admin editing pages content and publishing. But none of the users could see changes.

Pages have been Checked-in and published major version. But still not visible.

We could see version history of the page as changed.

It is happening with particular site admin. If we edit the same page and publish, it works.
We removed site admin from site collection and added back. But issue still exist.

Please check these three items

  1. Manage Files With No Checked In Version: Go to Library Settings and click the "Manage files which have no checked in version" link. If users have uploaded files but not checked them in, the users who uploaded the documents will be the only ones who can see them. Fortunately, the site owner can take ownership of checked out files, then check them in.
  2. Version Access: Go to Library Settings and click the "Versioning Settings" link. If "Content Approval" is turned on, then only people with access to Approve items will be able to see unapproved items. Similarly, if "Create major and minor (draft) versions" is checked, double-check what the "Draft Item Security" is set to-- you probably want it to be "Any user who can read items"
  3. Permissions: Finally, go to Permissions for this document library and confirm that there are no documents or folders with unique permissions.

Hi Abhilash, 

Check the version settings of your pages library, if you choose "Require content approval for submitted items?"
Make sure the document is approved. 

Besides, check the current view to make sure your filter is set to: "Show all items in this view".

All settings looks fine.
As mentioned, issue is only when particular site admin edits and publish the page.

It is working fine for other admins.

Have you enabled content approval? If you have chosed "Require content approval for submitted items".

Hi, 

How do you remove the user from the site collection? 

Try to remove the user from the site collection from the following URL, then regrant user with site collection administrator:

http://your site collection/_layouts/people.aspx?MembershipGroupId=0

Besides, check whether you have set filter on the view.
