If I selected default language is "en-us', i can create app packages and upload to the Windows Store but can't verify, verify failed because content of application is Vietnamese in while application info is English.
However, if I selected default language in Package.appxmanifest -> Application -> Default Language is "vi-vn", I choose Project -> Store -> Create App Packages... Error. Help me, please!!

In order to have your app support "vi-vn" along with English, you need to add the Langauge to AppxManifest file in the "Resources" section as :

<Resource Language "x-generate" />
<Resource Language "vi-vn" />

Also, you will need create a folder for language-specific resources in the your project and name it "vi-vn.

But content of my application is Vietnamese, if support Vietnamese with English, it bug certification content, not content compliance. Failed and my application still can't appears on the Windows Store.

  • I recived bug notification:
  • "Error 5 All languages specified in the Language attribute of the Resource element in the app manifest must be supported by the Windows Store. The value of the Resource element is comprised of the value from the Default Language field in the App Manifest Designer and a generated the list of languages based on localized resources in the project. The list of Windows Store app languages is available at ....  D:\Programing\Windows 8\HaiVL.Com\HaiVL.Com\Package.appxmanifest 13 4 HaiVL.Com"

According to documentation here :

  • Certification languages— languages that we support when confirming that your app meets our certification requirements. Your app must support at least one of these languages.
  • Allowable languages—languages that we support but do not use as part of the certification process. Your app can support as many of these languages as you like, as long as it supports at least one of the certification languages.

You can go through the list and check under which category the language supported by the app is listed. You can also connect with a representative by going over to and select appropriate topic under "Publishing Apps" .
