From kristan rae arcino @krristannn77

No access for our premium storage. any idea? @joe_elway @AzureSupport

we got no access from our premium storage?

Can you please confirm if this issue occurs in the new portal or the classic portal (or both)? Also, are you attempting to access or create?  ^AL

cannot create because cannot access on the new portal..

On the new portal, have you chosen "Data + Storage" then "Storage account"? ^AL

Thanks

Adding a screenshot that the customer later sent:

Customer also added: "we have a running server stored on that location..while it says there is no containers yet. We have one running VM residing on the container that we cannot view in the new portal.

Any way to double check that there is a VM running on the storage account in question? You can use https://resources.azure.com/ for this also.

Also make sure that the user checking has the necessary access to the storage account.

Hi,

Thank you for posting here.

Premium Storage is currently supported in some regions. You can find the list of available regions in Azure Services by Region.

Premium Storage supports DS-series, DSv2-series and GS-series Azure Virtual Machines (VMs). You can use both Standard and Premium storage disks with DS-series, DSv2-series or GS-series of VMs. But you cannot use Premium Storage disks with non-DS-series or non-GS-series of VMs.

Create an Azure virtual machine using Premium Storage via the Azure Portal refer below link:

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/storage-premium-storage/#create-and-use-a-premium-storage-account-for-a-virtual-machine-data-disk

Regards,

Vikranth S.
