My work laptop and onenote is working fine but I can't seem to get the onenote client on other devices (home PC, surface and iPhone to sync 

this is the error message

we can't sync this section because the server is busy. we'll try again later (erroe code 0xE0000790)

Any recommendations?

Hi Brian,

Did you sync OneNote from SharePoint to OneNote client?

Server is busy errors are typically seen when notebooks are stored in SharePoint, SharePoint Online, or OneDrive for Business. Even though they may seem to be sync errors, most are actually authentication errors that can be fixed by following one of these methods:

1. Sign out and sign in to OneNote.

2. Close and then re-open the notebook.

3. Check to make sure you have access to the notebook via OneNote Online (OneNote.com), SharePoint, or SharePoint Online.
