Take data from a dataset to run a stored procedure that is going to provide me data to populate a map

there is something I don't know how to do it. I have a dataset that provides data to a report and some controls.
I have another report with a map. I would like to take the data of the previous dataset that the user has selected (year, region, ...). I would like to take some of this data as parameter to run a stored procedure that is going to provide me polygons to populate the map.
Any idea how to get it?

To achieve your goal, you can use the Drillthrough report. In Reporting Services, a drillthrough report is a report that a user opens by clicking a link within another report. Typically, we also pass parameters from the previous report to the drillthrough report.

Thank you very much Mike. The customer didn't like the idea of using a drillthrough report and I have not tried to do it. The customer proposed to call directly the cube. Thank you very much anyway.
