Question

When I go to "Adoption" or "Usage" page of my Windows Store App, I see following error message:

The service isn't available right now. Please try again later.

Other pages work fine. Last time 'Adoption' page loaded successfully about 2 weeks ago. Now I see error message every time.

EDIT: The 'Usage' page doesn't work either.

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience. Please give us your app name and guid so that we can investigate.

App guid is the last argument in the Adoption page's URL.

For example, if https://appdev.microsoft.com/StorePortals/en-US/Analytics/Adoption/910538e7-465a-487a-aace-d14a275aae22 is the URL for the Adoption page,  910538e7-465a-487a-aace-d14a275aae22 is the Application GUID.

I occasionally get that error, I usually just switch to another view e.g. Downloads, then switch back; that usually corrects it for me.

@Sivaprakash

Thanks for response, my app's name: Daily Tasks, guid: 0ca8ddaa-a629-42b2-bbe6-28fb566884dd

@Peter J.Reid

I sometimes had this error too in the past, but now I'm getting this error all the time and nothing helps.

Hey Lucasus,

I just double checked the account for that app, and I was able to confirm that the download stats are showing up properly. Ensure you are using Internet Explorer 9 or higher, and that you are signed into the correct account. I am sorry you are receiving this error, can you try from a new system?

Unfortunately, I'm still experiencing this error. I've tried on two operating systems: Windows 7, Windows 8 and on browsers: IE 9, IE 10, Chrome and Firefox.

I've analyzed in firebug request response and I'm getting this server error when entering Adoption or Usage page:

Response: 500 Exception of type 'Windows.Store.Analytics.Common.Logging.AnalyticsControllerException' was thrown

Edit: I've sent support request with some additional info (support request number: 1209398297)

I have the same problem exactly as described. It has been down a few weeks for me.

Problem is solved, MS support has fixed this issue, now I'm able to enter and see both pages. Thank you.
