I am trying to trigger email based on the below steps but while running the flow its running successful,but email did not trigger so when i checked the flow history for send email step its showing "Action branching condition not satisfied:The execution of template action step skipped.the branching condition for this action is not satisfied"

Step 1: Choosed "Build a scheduled flow" Run this flow starting 1/29 Repeat every 1 min

Step 2: Recurrence step created

Step 3: Then add an action to get items from your SharePoint list with status  eq 'Inprogress'

step 4:Add an action "Apply to each" to run actions on every item that you get.
For "Select an output from previous step" just select value
Then add an action -> condition.

Step5:under condition duedate is greater than adddays(utcNow(),5)

step 6:If yes send an email(V2) To:Assigned To by email and configured other settings etc

Step 7:click save and run

Please post a screenshot of the executed flow (open the condition and take a screenshot). If your due date value is greater than or equals 04 feb 2020, then only it will send an email today.

Hi,

Thanks . I am able to receive emails but getting emails every 1 min its because of this settings right Run this flow starting 1/29 Repeat every 1 min?

Yes. Change min to days

Ok Thanks.

If we have to trigger email for the different scenario that to send reminder emails that no action were made in status changes from Inprogress to completed for more than 5 days based on lastactiondate so what would be condition for lastactiondate which is more than 5days  due for status change,send email .

example

Title status         lastactiondate   assignedTo

AA    Inprogress     22 jan             me@aa.com

as per the above item the status is Inprogress since 22jan so we need to send email notification for the above item since its more than 5days status is Inprogress based on the lastactiondate

Ok. Then the condition should be Today > lastactiondate+5. So the condition will be utcNow() - is greater than - adddays(item()?['Lastactiondate'],5)

Thanks again.

unfortunately i am unable to add this condition  adddays(item()?['Lastactiondate'],5) as its throwing invalid expression

Replace "Lastactiondate" with internal name of your lastactiondate column.

adddays(item()?['lastactiondate'],5)

Hi sree_23,

If this is not working for you then try using below expressions:

formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM-dd')

is greater than

formatDateTime(addDays(items('Apply_to_each')?['DateColumnName'],5),'dd/MM/yyyy')

Where DateColumnName is internal name of your date column.
