Differentiate metadata, telemetry and events coming from device using consumer groups.

Hi,
I have created an IoT hub with simulated devices and Time series insight is configured for the set up. I don't want my metadata or events to reach the TSI so I thought of creating 3 different consumer groups like one metadata, one for telemetry and another one for events. Then I am planning to create an event source on TSI with the telemetry consumer group. The problem is that how do I configure a consumer group to pull telemetry data separately.? Is there any preferred methods for achieving this.?

Hi Manu, you don't need to send metadata together with telemetry to TSI if you chose not to. If you did, we will be joining them in our ingestion path.
I'd love to understand what scenario you are after so we can help you achieve that.
Thanks,
Chandrika
